This unique Water Crystal Pendant has been designed around the sacred geometry of the water crystal photograph taken from blessed water by H.H. the 17th Karmapa (Orgen Trinley Dorje). During the auspicious occasion of his first visit to Europe in 2014, designer Kumanga Andrahennadi met with His Holiness at the Bodhicharya Berlin Centre and received the blessed water sample to be tested under the Dr Emoto’s method of photographing the water crystals. The designer Kumanga is a student of both H.H. the 17th Karmapa and late Dr Masaru Emoto. After taking the water crystal photographs of the blessed water sample, Kumanga then travelled to Dharamsala, India to receive a blessing form H.H. for the special design of the water crystal pendant it self. His Holiness has signed and blessed the design of the water crystal pendant that you will be purchasing today. A portion of the funds raised will support Bodhicharya Sri Lanka & Emoto Peace Project in Japan.
This special edition pendant, designer Andrahennadi has combined the concepts of drinking blessed water and wearing a blessing cord (which are traditionally made into a thread) into a beautifully-designed pendant which can be worn by the heart centre to transmit the healing vibrations of the water crystal. This unique pendant has been designed to wear for our day-to-day activities, to help transform our negative emotions that can arise as a result of our deep fears in life.
About H.H the 17th Karmapa Orgen Trinley Dorje:
Karmapa means “the one who carries out buddha-activity” or “the embodiment of all the activities of the buddhas”. In the Tibetan tradition, great enlightened teachers are said to be able to consciously control their rebirth in order to continue their activity for the benefit of all sentient beings. Throughout the centuries, Karmapas have been the central figure in the continuation of the vajrayana lineage in general and the Kagyu lineage in particular, and have played a very important role in the preservation of the study and practice lineages of Buddhism. The 17th Karmapa, as a scholar and meditation master, as well as painter, poet, songwriter and playwrighter, embodies a wide range of the activities that Karmapas have engaged in over the centuries. As an environmental activist, computer enthusiast and world spiritual leader whose teachings are often webcast live, the Seventeenth Gyalwang Karmapa has brought the Karmapa lineage’s activities fully into the 21st century.
About Bodhicharya Sri Lanka:
Bodhicharya Sri Lanka was launched in Colombo, Sri Lanka on 20th January 2015, becoming the first Tibetan Buddhist organisation in Sri Lanka. Esteemed guests included Ringu Tulku Rinpoche (Spiritual Director of Bodhicharya International and the representative of H.H. the 17th Karmapa in Europe), President’s Counsel, Suhada Gamlath (Solicitor General, Sri Lanka) and thirty international members of Bodhicharya from 18 different countries were present. Bodhicharya Sri Lanka is currently raising funds to create the first Tibetan Buddhist Centre in Sri Lanka, and a portion of funds raised through this pendant will be donated towards this auspicious project.
